January 6, 2024 – Save the Date.
Brothers, the planning committee has landed on January 6, 2024 as the date for our first larger convening.  Bro. Equan Burrows will be our host at MATC for the day.  Not only will we have strong content, but we will also have an opportunity to connect with their registration and enrollment process to introduce or re-introduce us to MATC’s educational opportunities. This team is co-chaired: by Min. Greg Lewis and Bro. Mike Taylor, with support from Bro. Equan Burrows. The rest of this team includes Min. Byron Johnson, Kyle Ashley, Pastor Martin Childs, Mark Wade, Elder Jim Addison, Victor Barnett, Dr. Darrell Williams, Wyman Winston, Baba Derrick Rogers

Leadership Team.
Our leadership team meets every Friday at 3 pm.  If you want to plug in, catch up, etc., please know that is a great time to catch up and plug in. The team, including me, is: Baba Derrick Rogers, Min. Greg Lewis, Dean Equan Burrows, and Min. Byron Johnson.  We are reaching out to those who expressed interest in joining the leadership team this week.

King Book Club.
The MLK leadership book is in!  We will begin distributing them next week. It will be easiest if you can connect and pick them up from the church at 8324 W. Keefe Avenue.  Contact the office at 414.462.9050 Min. Byron Johnson and Baba Derrick Rogers are crafting a short curriculum for us to use to journey through the book together.

Gathering Over a Meal.
We think it would be good to go out and gather and fellowship at least one more time before the end of the year — perhaps for an extended breakfast. Let me know if you are interested, and we will work on a date and location. Also, let me know if you can help coordinate.
