Other News and Resources:

  • Sunday was Grandparents Day! Let us remember to build bridges across generations and especially recognize the ways that grandparents are stepping back into the parenting role or stepping up in the community. The Alliance for Strong Families and Communities recently wrote an article on Second Acts in Education and the Grandparent Connection
  • Please complete and share the WI Disability Vote Coalition Voting Survey. The coalition is conducting a survey to learn more about voter experiences in Wisconsin during the August 14, 2018 primary election. They are interested in accessibility and disability voter access at the polls. They want to hear from voters with disabilities, older adults, and others who may have relevant experience regarding accessibility at the polls, such as family members, service providers, and disability advocates. You will be able to view the results of the survey later this fall; the results will help us to have a clearer picture of what the accessibility issues are for Wisconsin voters with disabilities and how they feel about their voting experiences. Take the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/YYZ5FDJ
