Man to Man Talk Back Series at Milwaukee Area Technical College

A wonderful time today at Milwaukee Area Technical College as a group of 20-30 men gathered to dialogue around a host of issues–eventually settling on mentoring, domestic violence and academic success strategies.

Collaborators included MATC, Mental Health Matters at MATC, City of Milwaukee Office of Violence Prevention and the City of Milwaukee Fatherhood Initiative.

Lanier, an inaugural CBMA fellow, is the Senior Pastor of Progressive Baptist Church of Milwaukee, which has a 30-year track record of innovation and service to community Milwaukee. Pastor Lanier also serves as the Director of Student Resources at Milwaukee Area Technical College where he also founded the college’s Men of Color Initiative and lead the first-ever Counseling and Psychological Services department.
