Last Friday, a group us gathered to break bread, sip coffee and consider the ways of the world. The fellowship was rich, thick and authentic. It felt like the barbershop however it was men from a diversity of churches in the city.
I was appreciative of the diversity of thought and opinion about what should happen next (in our city). We agreed and disagreed some on tactics and strategies but the commitment level was high
Looking forward to see what the Lord has in store…

Lanier, an inaugural CBMA fellow, is the Senior Pastor of Progressive Baptist Church of Milwaukee, which has a 30-year track record of innovation and service to community Milwaukee. Pastor Lanier also serves as the Director of Student Resources at Milwaukee Area Technical College where he also founded the college’s Men of Color Initiative and lead the first-ever Counseling and Psychological Services department.
