Reconcile with Your People

I received an email this morning of a co-worker who lost her husband. She is a pleasant, family woman who consistently kept her family in focus. She will not have to say “I wish I said . . . ” I will pray for her and others who have lost loved ones.
Now, there are those of us who have family, friends still living but with whom we don’t speak – or don’t speak often enough. This is a tragedy. Do not let death be the alarm clock that makes you say “I wish I had . . .”
If you are able, pray and extend yourself to them. Plant and water the seeds of reconciliation. This is my prayer.
Amen
